The Mayville Adult Steel Drum Band has been performing steel drum music for 10 years. The main purpose of the group is to have fun practicing and performing. A clarinet and flute are sometimes added to the arrangements. The members come from a variety of backgrounds.

For many years the seven members of the Veteran's Day Band have gathered to share one common theme. To play, enjoy, and perform music together. A Veteran's Day performance is a collection of songs from the "best of" lists of the bands seven members. Song selections include recent releases as well as time tested rock and roll covers. The band also ventures into other music genres which includes performances of original songs written by several of the band members. A Veteran's Day performance will always include the energy and enjoyment for music that the band members share together.

John Deere Display "Made with Pride" in Horicon, Wisconsin

An assortment of John Deere products that are "Made with Pride" at the John Deere Horicon Works factory. Here is your opportunity to sit on the machines and get an up close view. There will also be a radical, one of a kind, customized Gator on display, a gator built for the military, the Horicon firemen gator, and some vintage snowmobiles. John Deere representatives will also be on hand to answer all of your questions. Come down with your family and enjoy our display.

Wayne is one the premier local karaoke talents - he has over 8,000 songs on hand to please just about everyone!

Wayne will be performing during the Taste of Horicon 5:30pm - 9:30pm. He will also be at the Beach Party Saturday afternoon from 2:00pm - 4:00pm at the Horicon Aquatic Center. Wayne will also be performing with MC Clint Gritt as they work with Great Lakes Championship Wrestling Show on Saturday from 4:00pm - 6:00pm.

Come join us for some family fun at the Horicon Pool - June 14th. Pool opens at 1pm with admission of $1.00 for the day. Starting the fun will be the Horicon Library story time and a visit from Scoobie Doo at 1:30 pm. Then at 2:00pm - 4:00pm come sing or dance with Dreamstar Karaoke. Marshview Ministries, Shared Covenant Ministries, and Sacred Heart Youth Group will provide children activities throughout this time, including crafts, face painting, and miniature golf. Horicon High School alumni - Rich Finke is bringing his highly successful wrestling federation to Rock'n River Jam on Saturday afternoon behind the Kiwanis Booth at Discher Park. This is the same group that has performed at a local firemen picnic and has drawn hundreds of people to come and enjoy the entertainment that they give. So come on down for some great food, drinks and family oriented wrestling action.

Come and enjoy the music of Slim & Turner whom are always front and center with entertaining the crowd. An instant party and rock'n good time! Slim & Turner are a guitar and harmonica based duo playing blues standards and rock classics in a most unusual form. Their creative homemade percussion and antics will make you look twice and want to dance and enjoy them all night. They also play spoons, kazoos, and washboard. "Clyde" the stump fiddle, a big green tupperware bowl and mojo gator, plus tambourines, cymbals and poor man maraccas. You have never seen anything like this! Slim & Turner are definetly a most unusual duo and a unique experience not to be missed.

Vic Ferrari is a 10 piece band from the Fax Valley, playing all the hits from the 70's through today. They are a variety show band.
